The day my beloved MJ passed away…we were suppose to do a shoot with Audrey Kitching. First me, Aud, and Debbi went out for Mexican b/c I was starving….and then we went back to Aud’s place to play with her kitty (who I named Little Lu Lu)….and to get ready for the shoot. But….everyone started texting and calling us to say he died….so we turned on the news and we were glued to the tv for hours. They finally announced it over 2 hours later and we were all soooo bummed!!! When you think about it….he was the only artist to do anything that he’s accomplished. For example, the only child singer that was #1 to become an adult singer that was #1….his videos were EPIC almost movies that we waited to watch with such excitement…his style was beyond fashion forward. I could go on and on. I have been an MJ fan forever…so in his honor we decided instead of sitting in front of the tv and being sad to do a tribute shoot to him. This is right when we found out it happened….Audrey was like let’s take a pic together to put online…so we each put a glove on. This photo my face looks semi-happy….but the sad photos I looked ucky…so this was the one we posted.
This look was shot on Audrey’s roof….with all of LA in the background. We chose MJ colors…and a hat and gloves
Audrey’s kitty Little Lu Lu made me feel a lot better. She is very little and likes to play a lot….cracks me up!!

…so why would we still shoot? I think MJ wouldn’t want us to stop life. He was all about living…and that’s why people are having parties in his memory and not bumming out at super sad memorials. So love Michael….mourn his death….but keep on living…and live HARD…b/c you see how precious life is and how it can be taken away so quickly…
