Everyone meet DUCHESS!! Newest Chihuahua pup!!

Sorry there haven’t been posts….but…I adopted/rescued a Chihuahua…so taking care of her is very time consuming…but worth it!! Someone I knew way back one had 5 dogs…she also just had a baby…so it’s a lot to deal with obviously!! I agreed to take precious little Duchess…so everyone meet the newest addition to the NYC clan!! : )

We didn’t get home until late-ish…like 10:30pm. Pippy and Muffin investigate when we get home (below). Ps. Pippy wears pants…lol…otherwise he pee pee’s everywhere…lol

Once home we give Duchess a bath…and maybe 20 or 30 minutes later we find a FLEA!! I basically freak out!! I’ve never ever had a dog/animal with fleas ever!! My brain is going 100 miles a minute…now i’m thinking my whole house is contaminated!! And NO stores are open until the am!! Lets just say I got NO sleep and was at Petsmart the SECOND they opened!!!! Because Duchess had fleas…I had to get medication for Pippy and Muffin too. You apply it to their back (btwn the shoulders)…only problem was…Muffin likes to fight/play with Pippy and was biting his back and hence the medication. Poor Mr. Pickleman had to wear a rain jacket that whole day (below)…lol…poor little guy!!

Here she is!! Everyone meet Duchess!!! Such a sweet and happy little girl!! Right now she’s my shadow…everywhere I go you are sure to find her behind or to the side of me!!

The dogs like to play in the backyard!! Especially Muffin!! Her cousin Darla the French Bulldog was over all weekend and now Muffin wants to be like her older cousin and play with tennis balls. Only one small (literally) problem…the balls are too big for her to fit in her mouth…lolol. I throw it…but she can’t bring it back….ahahaha

Duchess is still adjusting. She’s afraid of Pippy and Muffin…and I think Pippy and Muffin are confused to who she is and what’s she doing in their house. My hope is they will all love eachother and be great friends. And if not, then I will be the bestest foster mommy I can be to Duchess and find her the home she deserves!! Hoping for the first one though!
